This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to our company’s success. You will play a crucial role in managing and preparing our tax payments and returns, ensuring we stay ahead of the curve with compliance and strategic tax planning. Key Responsibilities: Lead Tax Preparation: Prepare and file accurate and timely federal, state, and local tax returns. Strategic Analysis: Analyze financial data to uncover potential tax savings and liabilities. Compliance Champion: Ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations. Advisor Role: Provide insightful advice to management on the tax implications of business decisions. Research & Planning: Conduct in-depth tax research and develop strategic tax plans. Audit Coordination: Lead and coordinate audits by various taxation authorities. Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous records of all tax-related activities. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the accounting team to forecast tax obligations accurately. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in corporate tax accounting. In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations. Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational prowess.
