Role Summary:
As a Culinary Operations Supervisor, you will play a vital role in overseeing the culinary team within a correctional facility.
Your responsibilities will include coordinating and managing the activities of staff to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with established culinary standards in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide training and guidance to staff on all aspects of food preparation and sanitation.
- Ensure timely meal service delivery while maintaining high standards for portion control, presentation, and food temperature.
Qualifications:
- Required: A minimum of one year of culinary experience in a high-volume establishment, focusing on scratch cooking.
- Comprehensive knowledge of culinary techniques and standards.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Ideal candidates will possess extensive product knowledge, demonstrate excellent customer service skills, and thrive in a fast-paced setting.
- Supervisory experience is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Food Handlers certification is advantageous.
Compensation:
$18.00 per hour
