Temporary Traffic Control Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Temporary Traffic Control Supervisor to join our team at Wright. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient management of temporary traffic control operations on construction and maintenance sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setup and manage temporary traffic control systems to ensure the safety of workers and the general public.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of traffic control technicians to ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential safety hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement safety procedures and protocols to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that temporary traffic control operations are integrated into the overall project plan.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Traffic Control Supervisor or Technician Certification.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
