Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Clinical Supervisor to join our team at Los Alamos Medical Center. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for providing guidance and support to our nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and promoting a positive and professional work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including orienting, supervising, and evaluating their performance.
  • Assist with monitoring staff compliance with facility policies and unit directives.
  • Collaborate with the Director to evaluate the effectiveness of patient care and identify areas for improvement.
  • Respond to complaints about patient care and related services, and manage through established channels.
  • Perform role-specific duties, including entering orders, performing admissions or discharges, and coordinating transfers.
  • Ensure staff has necessary equipment and supplies to provide safe, quality patient care.
  • Integrate evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.
Requirements
  • Associates degree or Bachelor's degree in nursing.
  • Current NM RN licensure or appropriate RN Compact licensure.
  • New hires and transfers must have current BLS and ACLS upon hire.
  • Staff are required to obtain PALS/ENPC and NRP within six (6) months from hire.
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
