Healthcare Customer Service Specialist

At Quad/Graphics, we are dedicated to enhancing the healthcare experience and fostering a culture of wellness. As a Healthcare Customer Service Specialist, you will play a vital role in improving patient interactions by delivering exceptional support in our medical call center environment.

This position involves managing incoming calls, coordinating appointments, and providing essential information about our healthcare services. Candidates with a background in call center operations and medical knowledge are encouraged to apply.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. No weekends or holidays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Professionally handle incoming patient inquiries and resolve issues
  • Foster positive relationships with patients and clinic staff while adhering to standard operating procedures
  • Promptly identify and escalate priority concerns
  • Conduct follow-up communications and maintain accurate documentation
  • Assist customers with inquiries related to clinic benefits and eligibility
  • Properly route mainline telephone calls
  • Complete additional tasks and projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • Education: High School diploma or GED; an associate's degree is preferred
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a call center setting
  • Medical experience is highly desirable
  • Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with a typing speed of 45-50 WPM
