Responsibilities
  • Manage daily accounting tasks, including Accounts Payable & Receivable, budgeting, and monthly close.
  • Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Develop regular financial statements and conduct budget-to-actual analysis.
  • Prepare cash forecasts and manage cash flow to ensure financial sustainability.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping.
  • Assist with tax audits and tax returns.
  • Implement and maintain financial controls and procedures.
  • Develop and implement improvements to accounting processes and procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve financial and company goals.
  • Participate in financial audits and work closely with external auditors.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role.
  • Proficient in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel).
  • In-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Experience in creating financial statements, general ledger functions, and the month-end/year-end close process.
  • Proven experience in cash management and cash flow forecasting.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
