Responsibilities- Manage daily accounting tasks, including Accounts Payable & Receivable, budgeting, and monthly close.
- Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Develop regular financial statements and conduct budget-to-actual analysis.
- Prepare cash forecasts and manage cash flow to ensure financial sustainability.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping.
- Assist with tax audits and tax returns.
- Implement and maintain financial controls and procedures.
- Develop and implement improvements to accounting processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve financial and company goals.
- Participate in financial audits and work closely with external auditors.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role.
- Proficient in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel).
- In-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Experience in creating financial statements, general ledger functions, and the month-end/year-end close process.
- Proven experience in cash management and cash flow forecasting.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
