Property Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Property Accountant to join our team at RE1313. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for performing full-cycle property accounting for a diverse portfolio of commercial properties.
Your primary duties will include managing accounts receivables, property billbacks, and bank reconciliations. You will also prepare monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income, profit & loss, and cash flow statements.
In addition to your accounting responsibilities, you will coordinate with staff to ensure accurate budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. You will also provide accounting for several other entities, including a loan company, retail operation, and land sales.
To be successful in this role, you must have a strong knowledge of GAAP and be able to ensure compliance with all financial policies, procedures, and regulations.

Requirements:
- Must have Property Management Accounting Experience
- 2-4 years of commercial real estate accounting experience, preferably with a third-party management company
- Experience with real estate management/accounting software, Rent Manager, Yardi, AppFolio, MRI, etc.
