Business Process Director Distribution & Transportation

Spectrum Brands is undergoing a transformative ERP implementation, and we are seeking a seasoned Business Process Director to join our Business Transformation Office. This role is part of our enabling functions, which include Finance, Legal, IT, Human Resources, Supply Chain, and Commercial Operations. Our Business Transformation Office provides strategic guidance, process standardization, and expertise to drive business growth.

Job Summary

The Business Process Director Distribution & Transportation will lead the development and improvement of business processes related to Distribution, Transportation, and Global Trade within SAP S/4HANA. They will design and implement process changes, leveraging improvement methodologies, tools, and techniques to deliver business results aligned with operational objectives. This role requires a strong understanding of ERP systems, process improvement, and change management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and improve business processes related to Distribution, Transportation, and Global Trade
  • Lead multiple projects, utilizing improvement methodologies, tools, and techniques to deliver business results
  • Collaborate with functional leaders and ERP implementation teams to drive process improvements
  • Design and implement process changes, leveraging industry best practices and SAP S/4HANA capabilities
  • Manage organizational change and strategic performance initiatives, ensuring governance and oversight mechanisms are in place

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or relevant disciplines
  • 8+ years of experience in supply, demand planning, capacity planning, procurement, business transformation, ERP implementation, and SAP S/4 Sales and Supply Chain lines of business
  • 5-7+ years of experience in an international business & IT environment (ideally in manufacturing)
  • Six Sigma, Lean, and/or Change Management Certification a plus

This role requires a strong ability to lead change, achieve business goals, and work in a fast-paced, complex environment. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to adapt to differing audiences. They will also be able to manage multiple priorities with tight deadlines and work independently in a team environment.
