Job Description

At Northeastern REMC, we are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our members, responding to service requests, and ensuring timely resolution of issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle routine service requests from members, including outages, reconnects, and emergency radio and telephone communications.
  • Dispatch crews to outages or other emergency situations as directed and initiate appropriate service orders using the GIS, CIS, and OMS systems.
  • Perform SCADA duties, including responding to operate devices, altering settings, responding to alarms, checking for functionality, and generating reports.
  • Monitor load management equipment and operate equipment as necessary, notifying appropriate staff of abnormalities.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and provide excellent customer service.

Work Environment:

This is a part-time position, approximately 14 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work during or outside of regular operating hours, including weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts.
