Position Summary:
The role of the Food Services Representative III involves delivering exceptional food service to patients, guests, and customers. You will assist patients in selecting menu items that align with their preferences and dietary restrictions. This position requires daily engagement with patients to ensure a superior experience. In the absence of the Food Service Coordinator, you may step in to provide coverage. It is essential to maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe food production area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver food and beverage items, assemble patient trays, and support catering events.
- Perform daily cleaning of dishes and workspaces to uphold hygiene standards.
- Receive and store food and supply deliveries, adhering to FIFO principles, and assist with inventory management.
- Act as a liaison among patients, guests, physicians, and Food and Nutrition Services.
- Provide training and guidance to new team members.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
High School Graduate or Equivalent GED preferred.
Credentials:
Food Handler certification is preferred.
Experience:
A minimum of six months of experience in food services is essential.
Facility:
BayCare Health System, Food and Nutrition Services.
Work Schedule:
This position is classified as PRN, with varying shift hours and weekend work required.
