We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Market Conduct Examiner to join our team at the Office of the Insurance Commissioner (OIC). As a key member of our Market Examinations Unit, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in conducting market conduct examinations and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
About the Role:- Lead a team of Market Conduct Examiners in conducting examinations and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement examination plans and strategies to ensure effective and efficient examination processes.
- Provide guidance and oversight to team members to ensure high-quality examination results.
- Collaborate with other regulatory agencies and industry stakeholders to share best practices and stay up-to-date on regulatory developments.
- Develop and maintain relationships with insurance companies and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and cooperation.
The Market Examinations Unit is responsible for ensuring that insurance companies operating in Washington State are in compliance with regulatory requirements. Our team is dedicated to protecting consumers and promoting a healthy insurance market.
Requirements:- 7 years of insurance experience, including a combination of degree completion and/or working in the insurance industry in an operational area such as underwriting, claims, internal audit, or customer service.
- Intermediate level Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook skills.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of professionals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and cooperation.
- A competitive salary range of $90,000 - $110,016.
