About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief of Staff to join our team at Carta, Inc. as a Deputy Chief of Staff - Go-to-Market Strategy. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with our Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to drive the successful execution of our go-to-market (GTM) strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Partnership: Serve as a trusted advisor to the CRO, providing strategic guidance and support to drive the GTM strategy forward.
  • Operational Excellence: Analyze existing processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practices to optimize our operations, enhance productivity, and ensure seamless execution of GTM initiatives.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Act as a liaison between the CRO and various stakeholders, fostering transparent and timely communication, and facilitating cross-functional collaboration between sales, marketing, customer success, and product teams.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Conduct research, prepare reports, and deliver presentations to provide valuable insights into market trends, competitive landscape, and industry dynamics, supporting data-driven decision making within the GTM function.
  • Special Projects: Lead special projects and initiatives, overseeing project plans, resource coordination, and progress tracking to drive business growth and success.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field. MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Strong ability to understand complex go-to-market dynamics and models.
  • Very strong financial modeling and excel skills. Experience in budget development and goal setting.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide strategic recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise good judgment, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in project management tools, collaboration software, and Google Suite.
What We Offer

Carta's compensation package includes a market-competitive salary, equity for all full-time roles, exceptional benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions plans. Our minimum cash compensation (salary + commission if applicable) range for this role is:

$184,000 - $230,000 in SF

Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on geography, candidate experience and expertise, and other factors.
