We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse II to join our Gastroenterology Department at the University of Miami. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the development of our nursing practice.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and evaluate patients' conditions, developing and implementing individualized care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and make informed decisions.
- Administer medications and treatments, maintaining accurate records and adhering to regulatory guidelines.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health literacy and self-management.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the advancement of our nursing practice and patient care.
- Current Florida Registered Nurse License
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in a gastroenterology setting
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree (Associates degree with 2 years to complete BSN)
