We are in search of a full-time Medical Support Specialist to join our team, focusing on direct patient care within an outpatient clinical setting. This role is essential in enhancing the patient experience through a blend of administrative and clinical responsibilities, all under the supervision of a physician or nurse manager. Key tasks include assisting in the documentation of patient records.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Exhibit outstanding customer service to enhance patient satisfaction and streamline patient flow
- Guide patients through the clinic, take vital signs, and accurately record patient data
- Provide education to patients regarding their medications and treatment protocols
- Ensure the maintenance of precise and comprehensive patient records
- Complete essential documentation such as disability and FMLA forms
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma or equivalent qualification
- 1-2 years of experience in a medical office environment
- Certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred
