Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Bilingual LVN to join our team at Medix. As a Bilingual LVN, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced medical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform clinical intake and document patient information accurately.
  • Prepare patients for exams, treatments, or procedures.
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed by physician or provider.
  • Provide education to patients and families regarding their condition and ongoing care.
  • Consult with physicians and other healthcare professionals on staff regarding patient care and teaching issues.
  • Complete medical record documentation and assist physicians in maintaining medical records.
  • Maintain supplies and reorder as necessary.
  • Respond to patient and physician inquiries and resolve complaints and requests.
  • Report STDs, communicable diseases, etc. to appropriate agencies.
  • Assist in quality assurance checks and maintain a clean and orderly clinic environment.
  • Understand budgetary guidelines and follow established safety guidelines for working in the medical laboratory.
  • Perform phlebotomy, intravenous therapy, blood glucose monitoring, and lab procedures.
  • May perform and document preventive maintenance for equipment and instrumentation.
  • May investigate deviations from expected results or instrument performance and take action as directed by laboratory procedure.
  • May receive, process, and perform proficiency test samples in accordance with manufacturer's instructions and established laboratory protocol.
  • Assist providers and patients with translation as needed during office or telehealth visits.

Requirements:

  • LVN license
  • BLS
  • Bilingual (Don't need to be 100% fluent, though that is preferred)
