Marketing Analytics Specialist

Opportunity:

The Marketing Analytics Specialist is tasked with overseeing the management, development, and daily operations of the omni-channel marketing analytics team. This role is crucial in interpreting customer point of sale data and conducting in-depth analyses of sales trends driven by marketing efforts. The specialist will serve as the data steward for retail, wholesale, and direct-to-consumer (DTC) business channels, effectively conveying insights derived from analysis to the wider organization. They will integrate various data sources to create a cohesive and comprehensive analysis that connects marketing platforms, site visitors, and sales outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage actively in marketing discussions to facilitate hypothesis testing, including test design, execution, and analysis.
  • Gather data, establish correlations on historical trends, perform regression analysis, and assess marketing impact on key performance indicators across multiple business channels.
  • Create and sustain interactive reporting dashboards utilizing existing reporting tools and Excel to present performance updates on essential metrics and channels (i.e., paid, organic, and owned).
  • Possess a solid understanding of Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA), Incrementality testing, and causal impact assessments to draw pertinent conclusions.
  • Compile summaries of relevant data for distribution to appropriate management levels.
  • Demonstrate the ability to manipulate data swiftly in a dynamic environment to extract insights, visualize data, and produce interactive reports and dashboards.
  • Conduct Matched Marketing testing and A/B testing to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of marketing initiatives.
  • Exhibit a robust statistical background and analytical mindset to derive insights from extensive and diverse omni-channel data sets, understanding their significant influence on sales and web traffic due to various media strategies.
Qualifications
  • A master's degree in data analytics or a related field, or a minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on experience in marketing analytics is required.
  • In-depth understanding of the marketing funnel, return on ad spend (ROAS), media targeting (both online and offline), and sales metrics is essential.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with all management levels and marketing agencies.
  • Proficient in visualization tools, preferably Power BI, statistical platforms such as R and Python, strong SQL capabilities, and Microsoft applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Experience with marketing platforms like Google, Meta, and Pinterest, as well as Incrementality analyses and media mix modeling, is crucial.
  • Familiarity with customer journey mapping and segmentation is advantageous but not mandatory.
Travel Requirements
  • Occasional travel to headquarters for conferences and customer engagements may be required (domestic within the greater US).
