Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to fill the role of Medical Surgical Clinical Nurse Coordinator RN. This position requires a minimum of one year of experience as an RN in the acute care setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinating all functions in the unit/department during their designated shift.

Responsibilities
As a Medical Surgical Clinical Nurse Coordinator RN, you will:
• Collaborate with the management team to direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures
• Serve as a resource person for staff, modeling a commitment to the organization's vision/mission/values
• Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality, patient-centered care
• Participate in ongoing assessments of patient care services provided in the unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team
• Support engagement efforts by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives
• Provide recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff
• Manage practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines

Requirements
