Executive Sous Chef Job Description

At Superica Krog, we foster a culture of dignity, respect, and care in our kitchen.

As the ultimate Tex-Mex experience, our restaurant is seeking an Executive Sous Chef to oversee day-to-day operations, including production/prep, private parties, special events, stewarding, purchasing, and receiving.

The ideal candidate will have 5 years of progressive culinary experience, with at least 2 years in a Sous Chef capacity. Key responsibilities include ensuring high-quality menu items, managing labor and scheduling, and promoting maximum productivity and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations
  • Ensure quality control of menu items
  • Manage labor, scheduling, and overtime
  • Lead a cohesive team under pressure
Requirements:
  • 5 years of culinary experience
  • 2 years as a Sous Chef
  • Leadership and management skills
