Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Pastry Chef to lead our culinary operations and contribute to the success of C Parks Catering & Events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Culinary Leadership: Oversee day-to-day kitchen activities, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality food production.
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with management to create innovative menu items that showcase our culinary expertise.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular checks on ingredients and cooking techniques to maintain exceptional standards.
  • Team Management: Foster a positive work environment, providing guidance and support to junior staff members.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within the culinary industry.
  • Proven knowledge of cost control systems and labor management principles.
  • Expertise in baking and decorating cakes, pies, bars, cupcakes, and breakfast pastries from scratch.
  • Familiarity with plated desserts for high-end events.
  • Possession of strong leadership qualities, including communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. Additional benefits include health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
