Job Summary

Ameresco is seeking a highly skilled and experienced DDC Controls Senior Systems Integrator to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of complex Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems for building automation projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, DDC control systems, and building automation technologies, with excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of DDC control system solutions, ensuring they meet project requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with clients, project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to identify project goals, system requirements, and design specifications.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance in the selection of appropriate hardware, software, and communication protocols for DDC control system integration.
  • Develop and customize complex software programs and applications to enable seamless integration and interoperability of DDC control systems.
  • Conduct thorough system testing, verification, and commissioning to ensure optimal functionality, performance, and compliance with project requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience as a DDC Controls Systems Integrator or a similar senior-level role within the building automation industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems and DDC control systems, protocols (such as BACnet, Modbus), and building automation technologies.
  • Strong programming skills and proficiency in languages commonly used in DDC control systems, such as C/C++, Java, or ladder logic.
