Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned RN with expertise in clinical education and training to develop and implement programs that foster high-quality care through evidence-based practice, performance improvement activities, and professional staff development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage clinical education programs to ensure staff has current knowledge and competencies to meet program contractual and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with regional/program leadership in the delivery of new hire and ongoing clinical education and competency development.
  • Design and deliver training programs to ensure staff has the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Conduct educational needs assessments to identify learning needs among staff and develop education programs to address those needs.
  • Monitor and evaluate program outcomes to determine areas for improvement and recommend changes to current programs.
  • Communicate ongoing e-learning opportunities and evaluate e-learning usage and effectiveness.
  • Participate in the development of annual clinical education strategic goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Current license and registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent work experience required.
  • Master's Degree in Nursing required.
  • Minimum four years' experience in a community-based or long-term home health setting, including at least two years with a primary focus on education and training.
