Position Overview:
The Senior A/V Field Engineer will play a crucial role in the commissioning of intricate audio-visual systems while providing support to fellow Field Engineers as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
- Commission and optimize complex audio-visual systems both on-site and remotely.
- Ensure all audio-visual equipment operates effectively, both independently and as part of a larger system, in accordance with design specifications.
- Travel to client locations to install, configure, and verify audio-visual solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise, maintaining clear communication with the project team.
- Mentor junior Field Engineers through remote support, emphasizing best practices and adherence to company guidelines.

Technical Expertise:
- Collaborate closely with system programmers to ensure seamless functionality of control systems.
- Regularly lead teams on large-scale projects, coordinating with programming, installation, and engineering teams.
- Identify and document project completion statuses and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Stay updated on the latest technology trends, firmware updates, and common field challenges.

Physical and Travel Requirements:
- Frequent travel is necessary, including local and occasional long-distance trips.
- Must be able to navigate construction sites and comply with safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- The role may require lifting materials up to 40 pounds and spending significant time on foot.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of five years of relevant experience as a Field Engineer.
- Certifications in networking, audio-visual technologies, and programming are highly desirable.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with excellent customer service abilities.
- Proven experience in diagnosing and resolving complex audio-visual technical issues.
