As a Lead Systems Engineer, you will be instrumental in overseeing and optimizing our technological infrastructure, ensuring its security, dependability, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and manage our systems infrastructure.
  • Monitor system performance, diagnose issues, and enhance system resources.
  • Administer user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
  • Establish and uphold security protocols to safeguard system integrity.
  • Coordinate system upgrades and modifications, ensuring minimal disruption.
  • Conduct regular system backups and implement effective disaster recovery strategies.
  • Utilize automation and scripting to optimize administrative tasks.
  • Assess new technologies and propose enhancements for our systems.
  • Provide technical support and direction to colleagues and end-users.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation for system configurations and processes.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Systems Engineer, with at least 5 years in a senior capacity.
  • Expertise in managing Windows and Linux server environments.
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Strong grasp of networking principles and protocols.
  • Proficient in scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • Experience with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively.
  • Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), are advantageous.
