At Select Medical's Critical Illness Recovery Hospitals, you will be responsible for caring for patients who are critically ill or recovering from severe conditions. You will join a dedicated network of professionals committed to delivering quality care to thousands of patients daily across our various divisions.

Key Responsibilities

If you are motivated by the challenge of managing complex medical cases and are dedicated to providing outstanding patient care, this role may be for you.

  • Support survey activities to uphold accreditation, certification, and licensure standards.
  • Participate in monthly interdisciplinary Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) team meetings.
  • Assist in the evaluation of quarterly quality improvement reports.
  • Collaborate with the Medical Director and Quality Program Director on quality improvement initiatives.
  • Execute safety and Environment of Care (EOC) responsibilities.
  • Conduct monthly safety inspections and quality control assessments.
  • Perform monthly data entry, analysis, and reporting related to quality metrics.
  • Facilitate employee training and education within the workplace.
  • Work alongside leadership to ensure compliance with reporting obligations.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of patient needs, ensuring that every individual feels acknowledged and valued. A commitment to delivering exceptional quality care and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a dynamic environment are essential.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Valid professional clinical license in the respective state.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure is preferred.
  • At least two years of clinical experience in Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals (LTACH) or short-term acute care settings is preferred.
  • Previous experience in key areas such as quality improvement, risk management, infection control, or survey readiness is advantageous.
