We are in search of a skilled and dedicated Quality Assurance Engineer to play a pivotal role in upholding our reputation for delivering superior products. In this vital position, you will assess our manufacturing processes and products to ensure they align with established quality standards, implementing enhancements as necessary. You will be instrumental in our dedication to quality, collaborating with various teams to guarantee our products meet client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute quality control strategies to improve the quality of manufactured goods.
2. Monitor and evaluate quality performance, identifying trends and opportunities for enhancement.
3. Conduct regular audits in accordance with ISO 9001 standards and prepare audit reports.
4. Work alongside product development teams to define quality requirements from initial design through to final delivery.
5. Create detailed documentation for quality issues and functional specifications to ensure adherence to quality standards.
6. Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives to minimize defects and enhance manufacturing processes.
7. Facilitate training sessions and workshops to improve understanding of quality standards and processes within the organization.
8. Participate in cross-functional teams to identify effective corrective and preventive measures to enhance process quality.
9. Oversee the formulation and implementation of standards, methods, and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision, accuracy, and reliability of products.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
2. At least 5 years of experience in a Quality Engineering role within the manufacturing sector.
3. Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and experience in conducting quality audits.
4. Proven track record in product development and engineering.
5. Excellent technical skills, including proficiency in statistical analysis and quality improvement methodologies.
6. Strong problem-solving abilities and sound decision-making skills.
7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to work effectively in a team environment.
8. High attention to detail and a strong commitment to achieving high-quality standards.
9. Excellent project management capabilities, with the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
10. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with quality management systems software.
