At Select Medical's Critical Illness Recovery Hospitals, you will be responsible for caring for the most vulnerable patients in your community. This role involves providing care for patients who are chronically and critically ill or have recently transitioned from intensive care, requiring extended hospitalization. You will be part of a network of over 50,000 employees nationwide, delivering quality care to approximately 70,000 patients daily across our four divisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support survey activities to ensure the facility meets accreditation, certification, and licensure standards.
  • Assist in monthly interdisciplinary Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) team meetings.
  • Contribute to the review of quarterly quality improvement reports.
  • Collaborate with the Medical Director and Quality Program Director on the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
  • Perform safety and Environment of Care (EOC) duties.
  • Conduct monthly safety rounds and quality control assessments.
  • Complete monthly quality-related data entry, analysis, and reporting.
  • Assist in training and educating employees in the workplace.
  • Work with the leadership team to ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
Qualifications

Demonstrating an understanding of patient needs is essential, ensuring that each patient feels informed, understood, and valued. A passion for providing superior quality care and an ability to solve problems creatively in a dynamic environment are key attributes.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Valid professional clinical license required in the work State.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • RN licensure preferred.
  • At least two years of clinical experience in Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals (LTACH) or short-term acute care preferred.
  • Previous experience in a major area of responsibility such as quality improvement, risk management, infection control, or survey readiness preferred.
