Job Title: International Outreach Coordinator

University of Colorado Denver is seeking an experienced International Outreach Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our International Admissions team, you will play a critical role in promoting our university's global reputation and attracting top international students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective digital engagement strategies to promote our university's global brand and attract international students.
  • Collaborate with academic units to develop and execute international marketing and communication strategies.
  • Manage social media accounts, including content creation, calendar management, and analytics.
  • Plan and execute paid social media marketing campaigns to promote international student recruitment and scholarships.
  • Assist in the development and design of print and digital materials, including promotional items and website content.
  • Manage the International Admissions drip marketing mailing sequence for prospects, applicants, and admits.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to international students, applicants, and staff, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the International Recruitment and Marketing Lead to manage international recruitment agents, including vetting and onboarding new agents, targeted communications, in-person and online training, application inquiries, reporting, invoicing, and contracts.
  • Support the International Recruitment and Marketing Lead in preparing and executing timely and accurate payment of agent commissions for successfully enrolled students.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 1 year of experience working with communications and email platforms.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience working with constituents from diverse and international cultural backgrounds.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and in a timely manner, both in writing and orally, with a variety of audiences.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Outstanding customer service skills applied consistently to external and internal customers.
  • Demonstrated commitment and leadership ability to advance diversity and inclusion.
  • Ability to manage student staff and delegate projects effectively.
  • Flexibility to quickly change priorities as needed and to adapt to changes in processes and procedures.
  • Ability to keep sight of desired high-level outcomes while performing day-to-day tasks.
  • Ability to work independently.
