Automotive Regional Shop Manager

Main Street Auto is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Manager to oversee the operations of up to 12 large automotive service and repair shops. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills, with a proven track record of success in automotive retail management.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic leadership and guidance to multiple automotive shops within the region.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient use of resources.
- Achieve regional sales and profit targets: P&L ownership.
- Staffing, hiring, and professional development of general managers, service advisors, and technicians.
- Oversight and responsibility over general manager key tasks, customer satisfaction, business development, vendor management, safety, compliance, equipment maintenance, etc.
- Strategic planning and execution with the Main Street Auto executive leadership team.
- Implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and profit targets.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages employee growth and development.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Act as a liaison between corporate headquarters and the individual shops, communicating goals and objectives.
- Proven track record of success in automotive retail management, preferably in a multi-location setting.
- Strong understanding of the automotive industry, market trends, and customer needs.
- Possess a working understanding of:
- Automotive point-of-sales (POS) systems.
- Microsoft Office applications.
- Profit and Loss statements and financial management.
- Inventory control methods and accountability.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, make informed decisions, and drive results.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
- Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field is preferred.
- Willingness to travel within the region as needed.
