About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Executive Culinary Director to lead our culinary team at Gecko Hospitality. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations, menu planning, kitchen management, and staff training to ensure high-quality dining experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Culinary Operations: Oversee the daily culinary operations, including menu planning, kitchen management, and staff training.
  • Menu Development: Develop and implement new menu concepts, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of culinary professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
  • Food Safety and Sanitation: Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Culinary Innovation: Drive culinary innovation, staying up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Requirements:

  • Proven Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or Chef de Cuisine in a high-volume, fine dining environment.
  • Culinary Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in menu development, kitchen management, and staff training.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of culinary professionals.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
