The Key Holder is a key member of our store team, responsible for partnering with the Store Manager and Assistant Manager to motivate the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences. This role requires a strong sales and customer service background, with a proven track record of driving sales growth and building strong relationships with customers.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Generation

  • Drive sales growth by consistently motivating the sales team to achieve individual sales goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Support the Store Manager in achieving total store goals and KPIs.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to educate them on store sales plans, personal sales goals, and store statistics.
  • Lead by example on the sales floor and achieve individual sales goals.

Customer Service

  • Create a customer-centric environment by consistently demonstrating best practices in customer service, sales generation, and customer outreach.
  • Develop a strong knowledge of the brand's history, aesthetic, philosophy, and lifestyle, and effectively communicate this information to the sales team and customers.
  • Handle escalated customer service issues or concerns.
  • Assist with other customer service-related projects as directed by the Store Manager.

Team Development

  • Coordinate the daily activities of the sales team.
  • Ensure that all team members comply with Company Policy & Procedures and escalate any possible violations to the Store Manager.
  • Participate in the training of new associates on Company Policy & Procedures, Company history, and brand aesthetic.
  • Act as a role model for the sales team by consistently demonstrating best practices in customer service and sales generation.
  • Provide recognition to team members for exceptional performance.
  • Provide constructive feedback and coaching to team members to address performance concerns and encourage continued growth and development.

Operations & Presentation

  • Comply with all Company policies and procedures, including those found in the Company Employee Handbook and those communicated by Management.
  • Perform and coordinate store opening and closing procedures in compliance with Company procedures.
  • Process all POS transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
  • Ensure that the sales floor meets Company Standards with regards to merchandising, visual presentation, and housekeeping.

Communication

  • Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and enthusiasm in communication with clients, peers, management, and corporate partners.
  • Participate in weekly Manager's conference calls as required.
  • Communicate sales reports as required by Company procedures.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of retail sales experience required.
  • Proven track record of sales generation and customer service.
  • Interest in fashion and trend awareness required.
  • Strong computer skills-proficient in Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including nights and weekends.
