Job Title: Behavioral Health Clinical Supervisor

Family Service League Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Behavioral Health Clinical Supervisor to join our team. As a Behavioral Health Clinical Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing clinical and administrative oversight to our Mental Health Clinic in Central Islip.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual and group supervision to staff, interns, and limited permit holders.
  • Complete all clinical documentation in accordance with NYS Office of Mental Health in an electronic medical record.
  • Manage crisis situations as needed, including on call.
  • Attend routine supervision/team meeting.
  • Ensure the team's delivery to provide families with the adequate resources that encourage development of skills necessary to improve overall functioning and reduction of hospitalizations.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in social work or related field required.
  • LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, Ph.D./PsyD or licensed professional in a related field required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of prior experience working in a mental health clinic setting, including serving clients with co-occurring disorders and at least 1 year of supervisory experience in a behavioral health setting required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office, and EHR experience required.
