Job Title: Assistant Teacher

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant Teacher to join our team at Discovery Kidzone. As a key member of our educational team, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for young children to learn and grow.

Responsibilities:

  • Care for and interact with babies and toddlers, providing a safe and loving atmosphere.
  • Implement a variety of educational techniques, including storytelling, educational play, and media, to promote learning and development.
  • Observe and support each child's social and emotional growth, helping them build self-esteem and confidence.
  • Encourage children to interact with each other, resolving conflicts and promoting positive relationships.
  • Develop and implement a carefully constructed curriculum to foster artistic and practical skills, including shape recognition, number awareness, and color identification.
  • Organize and supervise nap and snack hours, ensuring the children's safety and well-being.
  • Track and report children's progress to parents, maintaining open communication and collaboration.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy classroom, adhering to health and safety standards.

Requirements:

  • No prior experience is necessary, as we provide comprehensive training.
  • Excellent understanding of child development principles and preschool educational methods.
  • Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms.
  • Excellent communication and instructional skills.
  • Ability to act as a mediator between children.
  • Cool-tempered, friendly, and reliable.
  • Certification in child CPR.

We offer competitive compensation and bonuses worth up to $2.00 more per hour.
