Program Evaluator Job Description

The State of Montana's Early Childhood and Family Support Division is seeking a skilled Program Evaluator to monitor and assess the effectiveness of the Preschool Development Grant Birth to Five (PDG B5) initiative. This position is responsible for evaluating programmatic goals and objectives to support the development and sustainability of an integrated early childhood system in Montana.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze programmatic, service-related, and surveillance system data to inform program evaluation and improvement.
  • Design, coordinate, and manage special evaluation procedures to address data gaps.
  • Develop and conduct trainings on program evaluation and quality improvement issues.
  • Design and conduct program evaluations to assess the effectiveness of early childhood programs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in health science, health education, behavioral or social science, or a closely related field.
  • Three years of job-related experience in program evaluation or related health or education programming.
  • Experience in early care and education or maternal and child health is preferred.
