We are seeking a highly skilled Stationary Engineer to join our team at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of stationary engines, boilers, and other mechanical equipment to provide utilities for our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain stationary engines, boilers, and other mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Monitor and control equipment to prevent malfunctions and ensure safe operation.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs to equipment to prevent downtime and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless operation of our facilities.
- Develop and implement procedures to improve equipment efficiency and reduce energy consumption.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in power plant or central utility plant operations, with a strong background in mechanical equipment operation and maintenance.
- Current City of Los Angeles Steam Engineer - Unlimited HP License or equivalent.
- California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of experience in power plant or central utility plant operations, with a strong background in mechanical equipment operation and maintenance.
- Experience with energy management systems and energy efficiency initiatives.
