Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist to join our team at Prisma Health. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scans as directed by the Manager, ensuring accurate and efficient procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Position patients accurately for CT procedures, utilizing knowledge of anatomy and pathology to optimize image quality.
  • Operate imaging equipment, including CT scanners and imaging workstations, to produce high-quality images.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient information, exam results, and equipment maintenance.
  • Collaborate with radiologists to determine appropriate protocols for each exam, ensuring correct procedures are followed.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain competency and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program with ARRT certification in CT.
  • Registered and registered in CT with the ARRT.
  • CPR certification and SCQRSA licensure.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of office equipment, including fax and copier machines.
  • Data entry skills and ability to maintain accurate records.
