Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Prisma Health. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases using radionuclides.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of technical procedures, including imaging and non-imaging studies, under the direction of the Manager/In-Charge Technologist and Medical Director.
  • Operate auxiliary equipment necessary to procedures, including radionuclide administration and imaging protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and families, ensuring their understanding of procedures and results.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient data, including exam results and radiopharmacy information.
  • Ensure compliance with Prisma Health's values, including Inspire health, Serve with compassion, and Be the difference.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine technology school.
  • 1-year Nuclear Medicine experience.
  • ARRT (N) or NMTCB registry.
  • CPR certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience on Philips equipment.
  • Spect/CT experience.
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Knowledge of office equipment (fax/copier).
Work Environment

This position is located at the Oconee Medical Campus, 1064 Oconee Memorial Hospital, Department of Nuclear Medicine.
