Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Prisma Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of technical procedures, including imaging, non-imaging, and function studies, under the direction of a nuclear medicine physician or cardiologist.
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals and other medications as directed by protocol, ensuring accurate dosing and proper storage.
  • Operate and maintain auxiliary equipment, including imaging devices and computer systems, to ensure optimal performance and patient safety.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure understanding of procedures and results.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient exams, radiopharmacy information, and quality control checks.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine technology program.
  • 1-year experience in nuclear medicine, with clinical experience considered towards the 1-year requirement.
  • ARRT (N) or NMTCB registry, with CPR certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience on Philips equipment.
  • Spect/CT experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in database management and data entry.
