At Prisma Health, we are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and inspiring health in our communities. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a vital role in our Imaging Float Pool, working collaboratively with our team to provide high-quality diagnostic services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of technical procedures using radionuclides for diagnosis and therapy of disease in humans.
  • Verify patient identification and written orders, and recognize and respond to emergency situations.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and families, and maintain accurate records of doses distributed to patients.
  • Operate auxiliary equipment, maintain a neat and clean work environment, and dispose of soiled linens and radioactive materials properly.
  • Perform quality control on radiopharmaceuticals, and follow departmental and regulatory policies on recordable events and misadministrations.

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology from an accredited program.
  • Registered in Nuclear Medicine Technology (ARRT (N)) or Certified Nuclear Medicine Tech (CNMT) through the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
  • SCRQSA license.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience on Philips preferred.
  • Spect CT experience preferred.
  • One year Nuc. Med experience preferred.

Variable shifts, with opportunities to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
