Product Marketing Specialist

As a Product Marketing Specialist, you will play a key role in implementing product marketing strategies in line with global product strategy in assigned areas to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and evaluate project specifications and end-user customer requirements to provide electrical solutions, including one-line electrical diagrams, schematic diagrams, lay-out & equipment drawings, equipment specifications, and project budget pricing for medium voltage Grid applications.
  • Support customers during the homologation process and pilot projects.
  • Be the local product expert in Intelligent Electronic Device (EID), Protection Relays, Centralized Protection & Software, and other Digital Substation Products.
  • Participate in and develop papers for IEEE and other industry events/conferences to raise awareness of ABB solutions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's of Science Degree in Engineering or relevant work experience from the field of Digital Substation Products with a minimum of 5 years of technical, application, and marketing experience.
  • Medium voltage equipment or applications experience and experience with medium voltage power distribution systems operation and equipment.
  • A background in protection relays and digital applications and technologies.
  • Ability to analyze market and competitive trends and products and recommend action plans leading to new ABB sales.
