Role Overview

The Digital Engagement Specialist plays a pivotal role in executing a brand's social media initiatives, under guidance. This position encompasses various aspects of social media to bolster the social team, including the creation of engaging content and its dissemination across multiple platforms. A genuine enthusiasm for social media and the ability to translate your comprehensive understanding of the field into compelling social content are crucial for success in this role.

As a collaborative team member, you will communicate clearly, pay meticulous attention to detail, and consistently seek innovative and effective creative solutions. You will be integrated into the larger social media team within the Consumer Engagement Group.

Core Responsibilities

Assist social teams in executing the client's social media strategy:
  • Craft engaging social copy and develop creative assets. A writing sample will be requested.
  • Proficiency in content creation is essential.
    • Familiarity with industry-standard photo and video editing tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro), is highly desirable.
  • Support the formulation and execution of a monthly content calendar.
  • Schedule and publish content across social media channels.
  • Oversee daily brand interactions on social platforms and assist the community management team.
  • Uphold social brand standards and voice.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of social media strategy fundamentals, including audience targeting, channel selection, content creation, and brand voice.
  • Provide insights, strategic direction, and best practices for social content creation.
  • Develop perspectives on various social topics as required.
  • Track trends in social media to inform content strategy and development.
  • Utilize social media tools to inspire optimal content and engagement strategies.
  • Identify opportunities for proactive engagement with relevant industry influencers, events, and trending topics.
  • Analyze brand social performance data to drive ongoing optimization.
