Industrial Automation Specialist

Selectek is seeking a highly skilled Industrial Automation Specialist to design, modify, update, and troubleshoot control systems for automatic industrial equipment.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects and contribute to the development of cutting-edge technology in the industrial sector.
Responsibilities:
- Design, modify, update, and troubleshoot control systems for automatic industrial equipment.
- Select components and design circuits and cabinet layouts.
- Generate bills of materials.
- Write PLC programs and configure servo systems.
- Troubleshoot final systems, either for new designs or modifications to existing designs.
- Ensure compliance with electrical standards, including NFPA 70 and NFPA 79.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in programming Allen Bradley Control Logix, Mitsubishi Q, and Siemens S7.
- Experience with panel layout using AutoCAD.
- Ability to design circuits and circuit layouts.
- Familiarity with configuring servos.
- Strong understanding of electrical standards, including NFPA 70 and NFPA 79.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the design of automated equipment or tooling design.
- Recent graduates with relevant coursework and internship experience are encouraged to apply.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
Pay Rate: $43.86 per hour
Shift and Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
