Job Overview

Thompson Staffing is seeking a Program Coordinator to join a non-profit organization. This position offers a direct hire opportunity with comprehensive benefits. The key responsibilities for this role include:

Grant Management:

  • Enhance, execute, and document processes to ensure efficient workflow of the grant cycle, due diligence, and filing systems.
  • Oversee the online grants management platform to maintain data integrity and system settings.
  • Prepare necessary documentation for site evaluations, Board meetings, and communications with applicants and grantees.
  • Conduct research on community challenges and organizations to guide grantmaking and other Foundation initiatives.
  • Analyze and share data to monitor program impact and refine grantmaking and reporting procedures.

Communication Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary contact for grant-related inquiries from nonprofits, grantees, and the public.
  • Represent the Foundation at site visits, conferences, and community engagement activities.
  • Draft grant award notifications, reporting formats, and other communications.
  • Create reports, analyses, and visual data representations regarding grant impacts.
  • Prepare and refine content for the organization's website.
  • Coordinate meetings, compile quarterly Board materials, and draft meeting summaries.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A proactive mindset, dedicated to excellence, with a strong foundation in the strategic execution of grantmaking and evaluation processes, alongside select administrative duties.
  • Exceptional analytical, verbal, and written communication skills, coupled with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to operate with humility, sensitivity, and discretion; to prioritize and resolve issues independently and collaboratively; and to anticipate needs with a customer-focused approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, email communication, internet research, and Adobe software.
  • Experience with grants management software or complex database systems.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage small to mid-sized gatherings, including Board meetings.
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred; relevant experience in a small office setting will be considered.

Salary range: $62,000 - $72,000.
