Family Services Coordinator - Children's Program

Wayside Recovery Center is seeking a dedicated Family Services Coordinator to join our team at our Family Treatment Center in Minneapolis, MN.

As a Family Services Coordinator, you will play a vital role in providing case management, advocacy services, and parenting support to families in need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide case management services to families, including parent and family case management, education groups, individual sessions, and child and parent assessments.
  • Coordinate scheduling and attend case staffing and appointments with community providers.
  • Make referrals and coordinate care to assist families in obtaining resources and meeting treatment planning goals.
  • Assist families in setting up medical providers and appointments for their children.
  • Provide transportation to family appointments and to obtain resources as needed.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and complete records, including documenting progress, screenings, collateral contacts, and assessments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with and relate effectively to women, children, and staff of diverse economic and cultural backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated experience working effectively with women and children who identify as Black, Indigenous, or Persons of color is highly preferred.
