Job Description:
Job Title: Automotive Performance Leadership DirectorThe Automotive Performance Leadership Director plays a critical leadership role within our organization, acting as a working manager to bridge the gap between Proactive Dealer Solutions management, Dealer Partners, and Performance Coaches. This position ensures the effective communication and execution of PDS strategies and policies, requiring strong leadership, motivational, and coaching abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- As a liaison between management and field teams, the Automotive Performance Leadership Director ensures effective communication and strategy implementation, driving impact during onsite visits and participating in account calls as needed.
- The role requires approximately 18 onsite days per month, which may include a mix of onsite visits and office/training days.
- The Automotive Performance Leadership Director must ensure the achievement of the training program objectives and the delivery of quality results, facilitating Executive Summary Calls to maintain clear and timely communication.
- This role guides the team through Pre-Launch, Launch, and Sustainment phases, ensuring smooth transitions, and upholds PDS processes, committing to delivering excellent service.
- The Automotive Performance Leadership Director identifies training needs and collaborates with the Training Manager/Program Director to implement necessary training, offering ongoing coaching to Performance Coaches to enhance their performance and skill set.
- Additional responsibilities include supporting and reinforcing company directives within the PC team, developing individual training plans for each PC to elevate the overall capabilities of the team, and working closely with the Program Director, Client Success, and Training team to address PC development opportunities.
- The role also involves advocating for the use of training and technology tools, such as SmartPath, BDC Central, and Salesforce, driving sales of PDS products and services across the team, with a target of one upsold day per PC per month, providing motivation and support to the PC team, fostering a positive and productive work environment, and serving as the communication bridge between the PC team and Account Managers to ensure alignment and effective collaboration.
- Finally, the Automotive Performance Leadership Director ensures timely escalation of account issues to the office as needed.
Qualifications:
- The Automotive Performance Leadership Director must have excellent communication and facilitation skills, strong leadership and motivational abilities, and proven ability to coach and develop a team to achieve high performance.
- Experience in managing multiple accounts and driving program objectives is also essential, as well as familiarity with automotive industry processes and training tools.
- The role requires the ability to travel as required to fulfill onsite responsibilities.
