Medical Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at One Health Family Medicine. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians and Advanced Care Practitioners with patient care, including vital signs, medication administration, and documentation.
- Pre-visit planning and patient intake/rooming.
- Perform Point of Care testing (POCT) and other clinical tasks as needed.
- Utilize standard precautions and comply with CHS Policies, OSHA standards, and other regulatory requirements.
- Report patient conditions and reactions to providers.
- Assist with patient inquiries, prescription refills, and appointment scheduling.
- Participate in electronic documentation of care.
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Recognized/certified as a CMA or RMA by a national organization.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required.
Physical Requirements:
Work consistently requires walking, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling. Must be able to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds.
