We are currently in search of a proficient Civil Engineering Project Coordinator to contribute to our initiatives in Green River, WY. This role is ideal for individuals with substantial experience in managing construction projects, particularly those with a background in civil and structural engineering related to industrial operations.

Role Summary: The Civil Engineering Project Coordinator will be tasked with supervising civil and structural construction projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will ensure that projects are executed on schedule, within financial constraints, and adhere to quality benchmarks set by our client, a significant player in the soda ash mining and processing sector. This position demands technical knowledge in civil and structural engineering, alongside exceptional project management capabilities and effective collaboration with diverse teams.

Core Responsibilities:

  1. Project Oversight: Direct civil and structural engineering projects in industrial settings from start to finish, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
  2. Design and Innovation: Create advanced civil and structural designs and solutions that align with project specifications. Employ CAD software to produce detailed schematics and models.
  3. Technical Support: Offer technical advice and assistance to the project team throughout all project phases. Conduct feasibility assessments, risk analyses, and technical reviews.
  4. Quality Control: Guarantee that all civil and structural designs comply with quality standards, regulatory mandates, and client specifications. Implement quality assurance practices and perform inspections as required.
  5. Supplier Collaboration: Work with suppliers and vendors to procure materials, components, and equipment. Assess supplier capabilities, negotiate agreements, and maintain supplier relations.
  6. Documentation and Communication: Generate project documentation, reports, and presentations for stakeholders. Effectively communicate project status, advancements, and challenges to management and team members.
  7. Process Enhancement: Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and efficiency gains within civil and structural engineering functions. Apply best practices and lessons learned from prior projects.
  8. Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations throughout the project lifecycle. Foster a safety-conscious culture within the project team and comply with organizational policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Project Coordinator in Civil and/or Structural Engineering within relevant industries (e.g., manufacturing, construction, oil & gas, or mining).
  • Proficient in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and other engineering applications.
  • Strong project management abilities, including planning, organizing, and monitoring.
  • Proven capacity to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities concurrently.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with applicable regulatory standards and industry practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering is advantageous.
