Role Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality, patient-focused care in accordance with departmental requirements. This care aligns with the standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. Collaborating with medical professionals, the RN provides individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care. We utilize established nursing models such as 'Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.' The RN acts as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization's vision, mission, and values to enhance the patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patient conditions upon admission and throughout each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in status.
  • Administer prescribed medications and monitor patients for therapeutic responses, intervening as necessary.
  • Conduct thorough patient evaluations prior to procedures, ensuring understanding of the process and obtaining necessary consent.
  • Implement evidence-based best practices to enhance patient experiences, including safety rounds and effective communication techniques.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills, ensuring clarity in interactions with patients, physicians, and colleagues, and appropriately escalating care concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
  • Registered Nurse licensure.
  • Associate Degree in Nursing.
