Role Responsibilities
The Critical Care Nurse will perform direct patient care in accordance with the Registered Nurse Practice Act. Responsibilities include:
- Assessing, planning, and evaluating patient care needs while executing physician orders.
- Administering medications, changing dressings, and monitoring vital signs.
- Utilizing computerized documentation systems to record and communicate patient conditions.
- Educating patients and their families as part of a multidisciplinary care team.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with a degree from an accredited nursing program.
- Current licensure with the appropriate nursing board.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within six months of hire.
- Preferred: One year of clinical nursing experience.
