Molecular Automation Capital Sales Solution Specialist

About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Molecular Automation Capital Sales Solution Specialist to join our team. This is a challenging and rewarding role that will require strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a matrix organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue creation through capital sales, service, software, and informatics, focusing on the BD COR System.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a strategic account sales plan, collaborating with external stakeholders in the hospital and reference lab environment to achieve sales goals.
- Lead without direct authority, partnering with the Strategic Customer Group Vice Presidents, Marketing, Health Care Consultants, and Project Management teams.
- Effectively communicate clinically relevant product features and benefits, using existing selling tools and creating new ones specific to each customer situation.
- Manage and coordinate all decision-makers to arrive at a contractual purchase agreement for the BD COR System and related products.
- Maintain realized revenue streams and ensure customer satisfaction through consistent customer contact.
- Achieve or exceed overall sales plans for designated product platforms, maximizing contract terms realized between BD and customers.
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biological areas, Business, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years documented sales success in large-dollar capital equipment sales into clinical labs.
- Strong knowledge of large capital equipment sales in complex accounts (hospitals and reference labs).
- Solution selling and leading without authority in a highly matrix organization.
- Knowledge of selling processes and components to build and maintain customer loyalty.
- Preparation, presentation, and closing skills, including direct sales, use of distribution channels, and/or team selling approaches.
The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000, depending on experience. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
