**Job Description:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Systems Engineer to join our team. As an Automation Systems Engineer, you will design, upgrade, and troubleshoot new and existing PLC control systems based on company guidelines.

You will also travel to work with customers and engage them on commissioning systems in the field. Your strong interpersonal skills will enable you to collaborate with the engineering department to understand complex automation lines, designs, and integrate control packages within these lines.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Industry-related college degree preferred
  • Experience: 3-5 years experience in Controls, Systems Engineering, Mechanical and/or Electrical role, or Robotics experience.
  • Physical Requirements: Up to 50% Travel - Must be able to acquire a passport, if asked. Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times and able to sit at a desk for prolonged periods of time.

    • Heavy Mechanical/Electrical Aptitude
    • Alley Bradley PLC: ControlLogix">CompactLogix, PlantPAx, PLC 5, MicroLogix, SLC 500, RS Logix, Studio 5000, Studio Designer, FactoryTalk SE/ME
    • Kawasaki/Kuka/Fanuc - Robot Programming experience a plus.
    • Siemens PLC: TIA Portal v12, TIA Portal v13, TIA Portal v14, Step 7, S7-1500, S7-1200, S7-300, S7-400, WinCC Flex
    • HMI Programming and Operations: Proface, Allen Bradley: FactoryTalk View Studio, RS View, PanelBuilder, Siemens: ProTool
    • Variable Frequency Drives - Allen Bradley Powerflex, Eaton, SEW Eurodrive.
    • Servos – Allen Bradley: Kenetics 6000, SERCOS Servo Drive Interface, Yaskawa: SGDV, SGDH

Estimated Salary Range: $65,000.00 - $95,000 per year.
